At The Vinod Learning Center, our educators work individually with homeschool students in Davidson and the Lake Norman area. We can supplement the curriculum your family has chosen, focus on a particular skill or subject, and adjust instruction to your student’s starting point and goals.
Subject instruction tailored to your student
Bring the curriculum, assignments, or work samples you are using, and we will identify where your student needs support. Our team can help with mathematics from foundational skills through calculus; biology, chemistry, and physics; reading and writing; and study skills. Sessions can address the lesson in front of your student while building the knowledge needed for what comes next.
Flexible support for homeschool families
Some families want help with one difficult unit. Others want regular instruction in a subject they would rather have an experienced educator teach. We can discuss a schedule that fits your family, with sessions at our Davidson office or virtually. You can begin when the need arises, without a term contract.
How we work with parents and students
We start by listening to what you want your student to learn and looking at the work they have already done. Then we recommend an educator and a practical starting plan. As lessons continue, we explain what we are working on and adjust the focus when your student is ready for the next challenge.
You remain involved in decisions about your student’s education. We can work alongside your chosen materials, provide targeted practice where useful, and talk with you about the skills your student is developing.
