Programs for Schools & Organizations

The Vinod Learning Center works with schools and community organizations to bring test preparation and college planning support to groups of students. We can design a program around your students, schedule, goals, and existing curriculum. Our longstanding work with Pine Lake Prep includes ACT preparation for its students. We welcome conversations about programs for an entire grade, a smaller group, or students served by a community organization.

Programs We Can Build With You

We can adapt the format and scope of a program to your students and your organization’s goals. The following are starting points for a conversation.

SAT & ACT Preparation

We can provide group instruction, focused workshops, or a more sustained preparation program. We can also work with a school to develop its own test prep approach and coordinate instruction with its calendar and existing curriculum.

College Planning and Affordability

Our college planning team can offer presentations for students and parents on planning ahead, understanding college costs, financial aid, and comparing options. Amanda Miller brings particular expertise in college affordability and can help families understand the financial aid process.

Community Sponsored Programs

Civic groups and other organizations can host or sponsor test preparation and college planning events for students in their communities. We can discuss the students you hope to reach, a useful format, and a program budget.

Community Workshops and Access

We want useful educational guidance to reach students and families who might otherwise have difficulty accessing it. When our schedule and resources allow, we offer no cost workshops or presentations for school and community organizations. Possibilities include test preparation, college planning, and study strategies. Tell us whom you hope to serve and what would be most useful, and we can discuss a format together.

How We Plan a Program

We start with a conversation about your students, goals, schedule, and available resources. From there, we can recommend a format and outline what instruction would cover.

Step 1)
Discuss the Need

Tell us whom you want to serve, what they need help with, and when the program would take place.

Step 2)
Shape the Program

We discuss the content, group size, schedule, and how the program can fit alongside what your organization already provides.

Step 3)
Deliver and Adjust

Our educators teach the program and use student work and participation to guide instruction as it progresses.

Let’s Build a Program for Your Students

Tell us about your school or organization, the students you hope to serve, and what you would like the program to accomplish. Include a possible timeframe if you have one. We’ll contact you to discuss a format that fits your goals.
